Overview
Behind every running EPM or CPM application is a set of environments to provision, secure, and keep performing. James & Monroe manages that layer for Oracle Cloud EPM, OneStream, and the on-prem Hyperion estate still in use across many finance teams — from the initial migration through day-to-day administration.
Not every team is moving to the cloud. We install and maintain Hyperion EPM on-premise on Linux or Windows, and where a move makes sense we migrate Hyperion Financial Management, Essbase, and Planning onto Oracle Cloud EPM or OneStream — converting rules and scripts such as HFM VBScript to OneStream business rules along the way.
Oracle Cloud EPM runs on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), and we work at that layer too — federating identity with SAML and OIDC, managing environment backups and restores, and keeping access aligned with your controls.

Move on-prem Hyperion (HFM, Essbase, Planning, Financial Reporting) to Oracle Cloud EPM or OneStream, including rule conversions such as HFM VBScript to OneStream business rules.
On-Premise Hyperion
Fresh installs and ongoing maintenance of Hyperion EPM on Linux or Windows — the WebLogic, web, and database tiers, on Oracle Database or SQL Server. We work on top of your operating system and handle security and application patching and version upgrades.
Environment Management
Manage the development, test, and production lifecycle for Oracle Cloud EPM and OneStream — application deployment, configuration, and promoting changes between environments.
Identity & Access
Configure single sign-on with SAML and OIDC federation — connecting Microsoft Entra ID or Okta through OCI Identity — alongside role design, user provisioning, and segregation of duties.
Backups & Recovery
Oracle Cloud EPM takes automatic snapshots, but retention is capped. We extend it — offloading and retaining snapshots so clients keep control of their own data — and manage OneStream backups, retention, and restore testing.
Performance Tuning
Tune application and database performance and troubleshoot issues across the EPM, OneStream, and Hyperion tiers — resolving bottlenecks in consolidation, calculation, and reporting.
